Camden Alive: How to join in

Last year, Camden Alive was awarded the Mayor of London’s Cultural Impact Award as part of the London Borough of Culture programme. Camden Alive is currently being put together with residents, cultural organisations and artists. We are working across ten neighbourhoods in Camden as well as hearing stories from people across the borough. There are many ways you can join in and be part of the story.

Camden stories

Camden Alive would like to hear from people from all areas of Camden. We would love to hear your individual story, your experiences, what you enjoy doing and what you think makes Camden and Camden people unique.
We would also like to hear from groups, clubs and cultural organisations if you would like to share your stories or get involved.

Creative activity

In partnership with Central Saint Martins art and design college, Camden Alive is currently active in ten areas across Camden. These include Holborn, Brunswick, Maiden Lane, Regent’s Park, Ossulston, Chalcotts, Southfleet, The Sidings, Lismore Circus and Alexandra & Ainsworth. If you would like to find out more about the activity in these places or how get involved please email below.

Training opportunities

Camden Alive is currently looking for people to help us hear the stories of the borough. We will be offering training in recording histories and interviewing techniques.
We will also be offering short work placements with our augmented reality specialists, Arcade.
