About Camden Alive
Camden Alive is a programme of arts and cultural events that celebrates the people of Camden. Sharing our diverse heritage through creativity, Camden Alive will capture the sights, sounds and spirit of the borough and what it means to live and work in Camden. Through music, dance, food, fashion, gardening, performance and visual art the stories of our neighbourhoods will unfold and be showcased by the creation of the virtual Camden People’s Museum. Presented through an augmented reality app the museum will illuminate and animate these stories, revealing the vibrant individual and collective culture of Camden.

How
Camden Alive will bring people, artists and cultural organisations together to share ideas, tell their stories and create something new. Creative workshops and conversations will happen across Camden, from January 2019, to discover residents’ stories and make neighbourhood connections. These conversations will spark and inspire the resident-led creation of artworks, performance and cultural exchange in the spring and summertime. In the autumn of 2019, Camden Alive will bring these stories and artworks together in a series of festivals and events, launching the virtual Camden People’s Museum, and celebrating the people of Camden.
