Celebrate Interfaith Week 2018 in Camden

Interfaith Week is from the 11th - 18th of November. We've put together a list of all the events you can find in Camden to help you celebrate Interfaith week 2018!

 

Remembrance Day Services on Sun 11 November

St Pancras Church

The Interfaith Remembrance Service will be on Sunday 11 November at 10am at St Pancras Church, Euston Road, followed by procession to the Euston Station War Memorial.

On the evening of 11 November there will be the lighting the Beacon to mark the nationwide `Battle’s Over – a Nation’s Tribute’ 100 Years of Remembrance. This will take place in Tavistock Sq Gardens.  Last post at 6.55pm, Beacon Lighting at 7.00 p.m. All welcome.

Diwali Party

Sun Nov 11th 3 pm to 7pm

Swiss Cottage Library and Park, NW3 3HA

Come festively dressed with your family to celebrate this joyful event. With storytelling, dance performances, art, a little dandia dance workshop, aarti, and a veg buffet included, treat all your senses at the Magic Of India's Diwali Party. We will light fireworks together, with security guards there. Bring your own sparklers and fountains! Some of you could also bring decorated aarti thalis from home.

This is a FREE lecture, followed by discussion for all those interested in inter faith topics.  (There will be a retiring collection for the World Congress of Faiths.)

Interfaith Summit. An interactive, peer-led space for people of all faiths and beliefs to connect, explore, and act, together.

Thursday 15 November, 3.30pm to 9.30pm.  For young people, admission £5 to £9

Coinciding with UK Interfaith Week in November, the summit is a unique event bringing together young people from diverse communities to connect with others, explore important themes, and sign up to joint action in the UK. Along with workshops, panel discussions, roundtables, talks, and an exhibition space, there will be a buzzing festive space for sharing food, music and conversation. The theme of this year’s Summit will be: Intersectionality, Identity and Race.

Open House for Inter Faith Week and Mitzvah Day

Multi-Faith Concert, All welcome, free admission
