Store Street Spring Market
The inaugural Store Street Spring Market will take place from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st March 2019. Supported by The Bedford Estates, the market will feature a vibrant, colourful selection of international street cuisine, artisan grocery foods and ethically traded handmade arts and crafts
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover an array of unusual items from around the world. The Famous Last Stand Bar will be serving a range of beer, ale, lager, cider, prosecco, wine and gin, whilst street entertainment will be provided by talented musicians, adding to the festival atmosphere. The Store Street Spring Market will complement Bloomsbury’s independent retailers.
The award-winning gardening team from The Bedford Estates [which includes Woburn Abbey & Gardens] will be on hand throughout the weekend providing expert advice including how to ‘Grow Your Own’ in the City.
The range of fresh street foods on offer will include barbecued meats, burgers with homemade toppings, arepas with chicken, pork or vegetarian options, Thai and Chinese delicacies plus Mexican and Jamaican inspired dishes. Handmade groceries such as vegan cakes, tarts and fritters, crafts, clothing and handmade silver jewellery will also feature strongly in the line-up.
Store Street Spring Market is free to enter and will be open on Friday 29th March from 12pm to 7pm, Saturday 30th March from 10am to 9pm and Sunday 31st March from 11am to 5pm.
Tottenham Court Road, Goodge Street, Holborn and Russell Square tube stations are all within a short stroll.
