The Centre of Armenian Information & Advice (CAIA) presents ‘Testimonies of War’, a documentary film by Athena Mandis, created as part of its UK Armenians & WW1 project. It features testimonies and stories about the Armenian community's experience of the First World War and will be followed by a discussion and accompanied by a pop-up exhibition.
UK Armenians & WW1 project is being funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and aims to create a comprehensive resource for the UK Armenian experiences in the First World War. As part of the project, volunteers have undertaken archival research, recorded personal memories, and preserved photographs and other media relating to this period for future generations.
