Weekly events

Job Zone – West Euston Partnership Looking for work? Book an appointment to see our careers advisor. Every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm youth area.

Job Zone: National Careers Service: Book an appointment for our Careers and Skill Advice 121 to suit your individual needs.

Thursday from 10am to 4pm in the youth area, Weeks 1 to 3 in the month. Call to book an appointment on 0800 100 900

Games Zone: We have the coolest board and PS3/ PS4 games for everybody. Like Chess, Draughts, Backgammon and more. Tue 3:30 to 5.45pm, Sun 12 to 4:45pm children library.

Rhyme Time
Bring your toddlers to our musical RT event. Every Tuesdays from 10.30 to 11am children library.

Story Telling
Come along with your parents, carer and friends to our story telling session, listen to a story or have a go at reading one
yourself. Every Wednesday from 3.30 to 4.30pm in children library.

Practice speaking English in a small group: Come along as often as you like, every Monday, 6 to 7pm and Thursday 6.30 to 7.30pm near café on floor 0.

Maths Homework club
Get help with your maths homework key stage levels 1 - 3 
Mondays from 3:40 to 5.00pm in children library.

Digital Camden: Make the most of the internet, get support if you need help with computers get yourself online. Drop in every,
Wednesday 10am to 12pm in the youth area.

Camden ACL IPads & IPhones: Do you have an IPad or IPhone, ever wonder what they do? You can bring your own device or use ours!
Mondays 1.30 to 3:30pm Meet at the library desk, term time only

Camden ACL Intro to Desktop Publishing with Word: Make a leaflets and posters for your business, community centre or personal project. You need to be able to use the mouse and keyboard. 
Thursdays 5.45 to 7.45pm in the youth area, term time only.

Camden ACL, Digital Photography: Learn to use a digital camera, upload your photos to the computer and editing. You need to be able to use the mouse and keyboard.  Every Mon 1 to 3pm in the youth area, term time only.

English Homework Club: Get support with your English homework from key stage levels 1 to 3 including help with spelling, grammar and punctuation plus fun word games which help you learn!
Thursday 3.30 to 5.00pm in the children library.

Benefits Workshop
We can help you complete your Online Housing Benefit Forms. The sessions are 30 minutes each and you need to bring in your supporting information.
Pre booking essential made at the enquiry desk, available Monday mornings.

Sundays Film Club
Join the club and spend an afternoon watching great films with other children.

Monthly Events

Family Rhyme Time
A chance for father’s mothers and carers of pre-school children to attend song, rhyme and story sessions.
On Saturday 11, 25 Feb 2.30 to 3.30pm in the children library.

FIFA 15 PS3 Tournament: Football PS3 tournament for the under 16s. Play against your friends to win a prize. On Saturday 21 February 12 to 4pm in the children library.

Creative Writing Competition: Our next competition falls on Tuesday 24 February 2015 and the subject: Write a story about going away a long time without your parents, what things would you bring? Where are you going to go? Who would look after you?

This event will take place at 3.40 to 4 30pm in the children’s library. Great prizes to be won!!!
Maths on Toast: Looking for family fun activities that will stretch your brain? Come along on Thur 19 and Sat 28 Feb from 2 to 5pm in the children library. This creative Maths is family fun by making mathematical shapes and more. The event is free and aimed at children aged 5-12.
