Swiss Cotage Open Open 2019 : Collaborate
This year, the Camden summer exhibition will mark an exciting reimagining of the Open Open exhibition of previous years and will form part of the Camden Alive project, exploring themes of working together, sharing ideas and collaborating.
The Camden Alive Open 2019 invites artists of all types to collaborate with each other to make new work that celebrates ideas, experiences and personal stories. Collaboration can involve a wide array of forms, approaches and results and we welcome submissions from visual artists, wordsmiths and performers.
Running from 8 July- 31 August 2019 the Camden Alive Open 2019 will be selected via an open submission process and work must be inspired by the theme Collaboration.
- Please send 3 images of the work, with 200 words outlining how the work was developed to email@example.com by midnight Sunday 9 June 2019.
- If selected the artists must be able to bring the artwork to The Swiss Cottage Library on 6 July or 7 July 2019 between 11am and 3pm.
- We are able to exhibit 2D work, 3D work and moving image.
The Camden Alive Open will form part of the Camden Alive project.
Camden Alive is a programme of arts and cultural events that celebrates the people of Camden. Sharing our diverse heritage through creativity, Camden Alive will capture the sights, sounds and spirit of the borough and what it means to live and work in Camden. Through music, dance, food, fashion, gardening, performance and visual art the stories of our neighbourhoods will unfold and be showcased by the creation of the virtual Camden People’s Museum.
