5. Dine with mulled wine at the Wellcome Kitchen, 14 December

Accompanied with the Wellcome Trust Choir, this late night opening at the Wellcome Collection is a great chance to pick up some unusual gifts, alongside some tasty food and tipples. Two courses and a glass of prosecco for £22.

6. Evelyn Glennie: Echoen from the Bird Cage, Friday 22 December



This performance is the world premiere of a new composition by Jill Jarman in collaboration with Dame Evelyn Glennie. Marking the culmination of Dame Evelyn’s term as King’s Cross Musician in Residence, Echoes from the Birdcage is the story of King’s Cross in six amazing movements.

There will be two performances at the Platform Theatre on Friday 22nd December at 2:30pm and 7:30pm. Book your tickets here.

7. Christmas with the London Philharmonic Choir, 16 December

Go on a journey through the history of Christmas music, from the grandeur of the Tudor court through to the classic Victorian Christmas, finishing with twentieth century favourites.
