Camden Alive
Camden Alive is a programme of arts and cultural events that celebrates the people of Camden. Sharing our diverse heritage through creativity, Camden Alive will capture the sights, sounds and spirit of the borough and what it means to live and work in Camden. Through music, dance, food, fashion, gardening, performance and visual art the stories of our neighbourhoods will unfold and be showcased by the creation of the virtual Camden People’s Museum. Museum of the Moon
Bloomsbury Festival 2019
Inspired by the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landings, the 2019 Bloomsbury Festival takes the theme of Small Steps and Giant Leaps. On 20 July 1969 a lone figure made a muffled pronouncement “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”. Neil Armstrong was that man, but behind the lunar landings were more than 400,000 NASA engineers, scientists and technicians and millions more were inspired by the feat. In 2019 they celebrate the small vital contributions alongside the famous moments, shining a light on the radical imaginations, institutions and residents of contemporary Bloomsbury.

what is camden
What is Camden?
This film, by directing duo James & James - comprising of film makers James Coyle and Jamie McCormack, is their homage to the borough of Camden. Jamie McCormack grew up in Queen’s Park, went to school in Cricklewood and spent many a teenage near-nefarious night out on the streets of Camden - primarily Camden Town, Belsize Park and Kentish town. In all that time he never realised just how big and varied the borough of Camden is- and when we found out we wanted to make a film that explored it properly - a paean to the borough that was home to so many memories.
