October is Black History Month, with aims of celebrating and commemorating the black contributions to our society and culture. Camden has a rich mix of events happening all across the borough to join in these celebrations. We've rounded up the best theatre, art, music, lectures and more to see this October. WIndrush Celebration Event 2019
Windrush: Inspired by the first generation celebration event
Camden Black Workers Group, supported by Camden Council and UNISON, present a free action-packed evening with a range of special guest performers and speakers.

The theme of the evening is ‘Windrush: Inspired by the first generation’, and the event will be compered by hip-hop artist, storyteller and poet Alim Kamara.
