Join the Tracing Our Tales art team and, inspired by Quentin Blake’s mysterious drawings, create your very own monster – a kind of personal protective “daemon” that can turn scary when needed! We will explore light, shadow and photography to bring to life your beasty friend.

How to book for the workshop

  • Booking is essential, to book a space on this workshops please email learning@foundlingmuseum.org.uk with the following information:
    • Your name
    • Title of workshop and session timeslot
    • Number of children
    • Number of adults
    • Age of children
    • Your phone number
  • Please let us know if you are local and if we can call you if a workshop is made available due to cancellation
  • Places for the workshops are very limited, to allow for as many children as possible to attend, we recommend one adult per child or group of children
  • Please cancel if you can’t make your workshop, to free up a space for another family

Visitor safety

  • All workshops follow government Covid safety guidelines

  • We ask that everyone respects the physical distancing measures we have put in place and follows current Government guidance on social distancing
  • Following Government guidelines, if you are able to wear a face covering we would ask you to wear one during your visit, for your safety and the safety of others. All staff and volunteers will also be wearing face coverings
  • For everyone’s safety, please don’t attend the workshop if you or anyone in your family are feeling unwell, or have come into contact recently with anyone experiencing Covid symptoms

This lively new take on Shakespeare's beloved comedy will take audiences back to the roaring twenties for an evening of romance, fun, and mischief. Six versatile actors, we will take audiences on a gorgeous outdoor adventure combining music, dance and a good dose of comedy. This family-friendly show is suitable for ages six and up and is a great introduction to outdoor theatre and Shakespeare.
