Celebrating Research at UCLH
2.30-5.30pm Thursday 5 July
University College Hospital, 235 Euston Road, London NW1 2BU
University College Hospital will be celebrating the NHS’ 70th birthday on 5 July with a massive free open day. The day will celebrate research at UCL and UCLH over the last 70 years.
Patients and the public can visit 50 different stalls across many different disease areas. The stalls will display cutting edge biomedical research and patient care at UCL and the hospital with the chance to hear about the latest innovations and ask researchers about their work.
The stalls will host a range of interactive activities and games including seeing how much bacteria and fungi exist on our hands, identifying objects using MRI scans, taking part in a mini yoga session and much more!
The event will also celebrate the NHS’ 70th birthday with an ‘NHS 7Tea party’ with tea, coffee and cake. There will also be a chance to win a FITBIT and Amazon Echo in our free prize draw.
There’s no need to book, just drop in and enjoy!
Previous research open days have attracted hundreds of visitors from the local community, patient groups and schools.
The exhibition will be held 2.30 – 5.30pm on Thursday 5 July 2018 in the main atrium of University College Hospital, 235 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BU.
