The Great Get Together 2019

On 21st - 23rd June 2019, communities up and down the country will be getting together to celebrate kindness, respect and all we have in common. The Great Get Together is an opportunity for people to come together with friends, neighbours and perhaps even strangers to celebrate all we have in common.

The Great Get Together is inspired by Jo Cox, who was killed in June 2016, and it is an opportunity to celebrate everything she stood for. This means rejecting divisive politics and bringing communities together to celebrate all that unites us.

Camden are delighted to be supporting the Great Get Together and so we are encouraging local groups to host events in their communities.

We’re helping to coordinate planned events by connecting interested organisations where there is potential for collaboration. We will also help promote public events by compiling a programme and promoting this through social media and other communication channels, such as the Love Camden website.

We have set up a simple online form so that we can collate details of events. If you are planning to hold an event, please complete the Great Get Together Event Form
