A fabulous opportunity to hear the young opera stars of tomorrow in an intimate setting. Stephanie Wake-Edwards (mezzo) and Blaise Malaba (bass) will perform songs and arias, accompanied by conductor Patrick Milne. Programme includes songs by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Brahms and arias from Don Govanni, La Gioconda, I Vespri Siciliani and Samson et Delilah.
Blaise was a finalist in the 2015 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition and Stephanie in the 2018 Kathleen Ferrier Awards. Both are now at the Royal Opera House taking roles on the main stage. We guarantee you a very special evening as the piano and acoustic of Rosslyn Chapel are excellent and will do justice to these two young stars.
Proceeds from the recital all go to Keats Community Library.
