Red Lion Square was laid out in 1684 by Nicholas Barbon. It took its name from the Red Lion Inn which was a small pub that backed on to the square.
The square is surrounded by a beautiful garden and a path that runs through the centre of the space; its other features include statues and a small café. Red Lion Square benefits from high commuters foot traffic, which makes it the perfect place for sampling and experiential marketing activations.
