Coming Soon: Two Exciting Funding Opportunities
We’re thrilled to announce two funds designed to enrich Camden’s cultural and community landscape will open for applications on 6th January 2025 - the Cultural Education and Learning Support Fund and the Community Festival Fund.

At a Glance: Which Fund Is Right for You?
1. Cultural Education and Learning Support Fund
For: Camden-based arts and culture organisations or those with a strong track record of delivering projects for children and young people in Camden.
Purpose: To fund innovative projects that provide free access to high-quality cultural experiences for children and young people.
Examples of Projects: Workshops, performances, school-based activities, festivals, and creative career pathways.
2. Camden Community Festival Fund
For: Community groups, resident associations, and organisations planning outdoor events in Camden.
Purpose: To support not-for-profit, community-led outdoor events that bring Camden residents together and celebrate the borough’s diversity.
Examples of Events: Street parties, cultural festivals, and creative gatherings.

The Cultural Education and Learning Support Fund
We’re excited to announce that Round Three of the Cultural Education and Learning Support Fund will open for applications on Monday, 6 January 2025!
This vital fund provides grants of up to £25,000 to Camden-based arts and culture organisations delivering impactful projects that give children and young people free access to high-quality cultural experiences.
This funding is designed to support innovative projects that:
Create opportunities for more children and young people to experience and participate in the arts.
Bring more creative projects to schools and youth venues across Camden.
Create opportunities for career pathways in the culture and creative industries.
Allow young people to learn new creative skills and gain knowledge and experience.
We’re especially looking for projects that reach beyond established audiences to connect with disadvantaged and underrepresented children and young people who may experience barriers to cultural participation.
Please be aware that this is a very popular fund and so it may not be possible to award your requested amount.
What Kind of Projects Are We Looking For?
We’re open to a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to:
Workshops and performances
Venue visits and tours
Festivals and events
Teaching and learning resources
If your idea supports children and young people’s access to culture in Camden, we want to hear from you!
Who Can Apply?
This fund is open to organizations and charities that:
Are based in Camden, or
Have a strong track record of delivering arts and cultural projects for children and young people in the borough.

The Camden Community Festival Fund!
We’re thrilled to announce that applications for the Camden Community Festival Fund 2025-26 will open at 10:00 AM on Monday 6 January 2025!
This fantastic opportunity, managed by the Event Service, is here to support outdoor community events that bring Camden residents together and celebrate the rich diversity and culture of our borough. Whether you’re planning a street party, a cultural festival, or a creative community gathering, this fund can help bring your vision to life.
The Camden Community Festival Fund offers:
Grants of £200 to £2,000 for outdoor events that align with our community-focused criteria, but please be aware that this is a very popular fund and so it may not be possible to award your requested amount.
Fee waivers for hosting events in Camden’s outdoor spaces or streets.
A chance to contribute to Camden’s vibrant culture, strong community connections, and dynamic partnerships.
Priority Themes for 2025
This year, we’re especially encouraging applications for events that:
Celebrate Camden at 60, marking 60 years since the borough’s creation in 1965.
Recognize the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Promote community cohesion through multicultural partnerships.
How to Apply
To be considered, your event must be:
Not-for-profit and community-led.
Held outdoors within the Camden borough.
Aligned with the Community Event Criteria outlined in the application pack (available on the Love Camden website from 6 January).
Applications must be submitted by 23:59 on Friday, 14 February 2025. Late submissions cannot be accepted.
