Staying at Home
2020 SUMMER EXHIBITION
ONLINE / OFFLINE 13 JUNE - 28 AUGUST
During this extraordinary time of Covid-19 induced lock-down we are creatively moved to draw and paint what we see. This might mean the view from our windows, our loved ones, or simply the everyday mundane of our immediate surroundings.
The Camden Art Collection contains over seven hundred artworks ranging from examples from the Bloomsbury Group through to works by the Kitchen Sink School of artists. We have selected some of the best examples of domestic and familial scenes and invite you to be inspired to create your own artworks in response to your domestic surrounds and circumstances.

The Staying at Home summer exhibition will live here online and depending on the duration of the lock-down may also be installed in The Swiss Cottage Gallery. Selected submitted work will be exhibited with the works seen here from the Camden Collection.

The 2020 Staying at Home summer exhibition will be selected via an open submission process and work must be inspired by the theme of domesticity, either generally or in direct reference to work from the Camden Collection.
