A very special screening of BushBash Recordings: The Story So Far, featuring a live introduction, followed by the film, and then a Live Q&A session with MC Bushkin, Sweet P, and Discreet (The First Lady of BushBash).

Join serial entrepreneur and music mogul MC Bushkin on his journey from being the founding member of the infamous north London trio the Heartless Crew to setting up the UK’s first independent black record label.

Follow the story as Bushkin details his inspiration behind starting the label, hear staff members’ thoughts about the company and what it like to work with Bushkin, listen to stories from other artists about their experiences with the label and take a look into the future to see what’s next for BushBash Recordings.

The Story So Far is a timeless piece of HIS Story.

Part of Camden Council's Black History Season which runs from October - December, to celebrate the incredible and wonderful achievements and contributions of Black people across Camden and the UK. The majority of the events listed in our programme are free, with a small number of events having a pay what you can with proceeds going to support the brilliant work of the The Black Curriculum
