In the 2000s, Greek cinema underwent a transformative shift and a new generation of filmmakers broke free from established traditions, and ventured into unexplored narrative territory.

This programme consists of 9 Greek films made after 2000 and will run from February to April 2025 under the aegis of the Greek Embassy in London. It will include director Q&As, panel discussions, expert introductions and special events.

This programme aims to create awareness of contemporary Greek Cinema for London and international audiences and to engage the Greek diaspora.
