How can our thoughts be SO painfully ridiculous, yet we convince ourselves they’re facts?

Eat. Sleep. Ruminate. Repeat is a female two-hander bringing light to the nonsensical and the sometimes chaotic things our thoughts can convince us of. This new piece of writing by recent drama graduate Jaylie Wayling ridiculously interrogates our thought processes and the endless cycles of rumination we get stuck in. Based on Jaylie’s own experiences, she hopes to connect to those who are also overwhelmed by their thoughts and share in both the pain and hilarity of overthinking. The play explores themes including Mental Health, Chaos versus Order and Comedy. The performance will be held on August 6th at 6pm at The Hen and Chickens Theatre as part of the Camden Fringe this year.
