We're excited to celebrate Camden at 60: The Big Street Party with our Camden community!

To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, we’ve put together some important information.

The event starts at 12pm - if you have a ticket, we strongly recommend arriving by 12pm. This is a free but very popular event, and while we’re excited to have you join us, we can’t guarantee seats or space if you arrive later. We’ll also be welcoming walk-ups from 2pm to make sure we keep a full audience for our amazing performers.

To make the most of your day, please take a moment to read through our FAQs below:

Entry / tickets

Is the event free?

Yes! This is a completely free event for the community to enjoy.

Do I need a ticket to attend?

We recommend booking a free ticket in advance (tickets are sold out but you can join our waitlist) - it helps us manage numbers and significantly increases your chances of getting into the event zone, especially if you arrive early.

Your ticket gives you access to:

• Seating areas

• Live entertainment

• Food and drink offerings

• The full event experience inside the designated event zone

Please note: Entry is still on a first-come, first-served basis, and space is limited - so even with a ticket, arriving early is your best bet to make the most of the day!

Can I still come if I don’t have a ticket?

Yes! Walk-ups are welcome from 2pm. However, we cannot guarantee entry as space is limited and priority will be given to those who arrive early.

What if I just want to watch from the street?

While you may see or hear some of the entertainment from outside the event zone, you will not be able to stop and gather on the pavement. For safety reasons, and to avoid crowding local businesses, security will ask passersby to keep moving.

Does a ticket guarantee entry?

Not exactly. Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis - even for ticket holders - because space is limited. We strongly recommend arriving early in the day or just as the event starts to secure your spot and enjoy the full experience.

What happens if the event space reaches capacity?

Once the space is full, we won’t be able to let more people in until space becomes available. This applies to both ticket holders and walk-ups.

Can I arrive at any time?

You're welcome to arrive at any time during the event hours, but again, entry is based on availability at the time you arrive.

What if I arrive late with a ticket?

If you arrive after the venue is full, you’ll need to wait until a space opens up. We recommend arriving early.

Where is the event entrance?

The main entrance is on Camden High Street at the junction with Buck Street - (by Buck's Head pub). Keep an eye out for the sign or markers that indicate the event entrance at this busy spot.

Can I leave the event zone and return?

Yes you can, but there may be a slight wait to get back in, depending on busyness at the entrance.

What You Can (and Can’t) Bring

Can I bring my own picnic to the event?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own picnic, but please follow our safety and sustainability guidelines:

You Can Bring:

  • Food and soft drinks/water in non-glass containers

  • Reusable or biodegradable cutlery and plates

Please Don’t Bring:

  • Glass bottles or containers (for safety reasons)

  • Large coolers or excessive packaging

  • Barbecues, disposable grills, or open flames

  • Alcohol – there will be a pop-up bar in the event zone where you can purchase drink but no personal alcohol is allowed

  • Large items like suitcases/gazebos as we have limited space

Food & Drink

Will food and drink be available?

  • A pop-up BOXPARK bar will be serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

  • There will also be a welcome tea or coffee available

  • BOXPARK Camden will be available to purchase food from which you can enjoy on-site

  • You are also very welcome to bring your own picnics!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No personal alcohol is allowed. However, you can enjoy a selection of drinks at the BoxPark pop-up bar on-site! If you’re lucky enough to look under 25, please bring ID.

What if I want to share food with others?

That’s lovely, but please be mindful of allergies and safety:

  • Label ingredients clearly if you’re sharing food

  • Be aware of common allergens like nuts, dairy, gluten, and shellfish

  • Parents/guardians should supervise children with food allergies

Facilities

Will there be toilets?

The toilets are located outside of the event zone at BOXPARK Camden nearby, where there will be both accessible and standard toilets for event attendees. These are located on the top floor, accessible via two lifts from the ground floor.

Safety & Security

Will there be bag checks?
Yes, for everyone’s safety, there will be bag checks at the entrance.

What can I bring in my bag?
Please refer to our What You Can (and Can’t) Bring section for more details on what’s allowed.

Weather

Will the event go ahead if it rains?

Yes, our event will be going ahead come rain or shine (in true street party style). However, please check the weather before you leave the house and pack weather-appropriate clothing/accessories and sun protection.
