Celebrating the contributions of Black servicemen and women to the British War effort in World War I and World War II.

The installation/exhibition is a series of images and videos of Black servicemen and women from Africa, the Caribbean, and the UK who served in World War I and World War II.

The exhibit is curated by Alison Ray, MA, Artistic Director of the Alison Ray Dance Company, in collaboration with Donald Campbell, Ex RAF (Director of The Forgotten Generation), and in partnership with Camden Council.

The exhibition was first displayed at the Bernie Grant Centre and Tacchi Morris Centre as part of the opening segment of "The Unknown Soldier" production.

The exhibition sheds light on Ulric Cross RAF (Trinidad), Johnny Smythe RAF (Sierra Leone), and Lilian Bader WAAF.

Part of Camden Council's Black History Season which runs from October - December, to celebrate the incredible and wonderful achievements and contributions of Black people across Camden and the UK.
